A few months ago, Her Arrow Points North nominated me for The Versatile Blogger Award which I am so grateful for! Go check out her blog, it’s full of good posts and pictures!
It’s great knowing people out there not only read my blog, but enjoy reading it and look forward to my posts. So thank you so much for nominating me! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get around to making this post, my life seems to be running at two speeds lately, busy and busier!
The Versatile Blogger Award is to celebrate bloggers who bring something special to your life. The blogs that I’ve nominated below are ones that I always get excited when I see they have a new post. They share great hunting stories, amazing pictures, delicious wild game recipes, and make it an enjoyable read from start to finish.
Here are the rules:
– Thank the person that has nominated you
– Include a link to their blog
– Nominate at least 5 blogs of your choice
– Link your nominees and let them know of your nomination
– Share seven different facts about yourself
Here are some random facts about me. This blog is very hunting focused so I chose things that have nothing to do with the outdoors.
04. From Field To Plate
05. Harvesting Nature
Wow! Thank you so much!! I’m humbled that you enjoy my posts and I’m excited to pass this along! 🙂 You brought a smile to my day and I needed it!!
You’re welcome!! I’m so glad this brightened your day! 🙂 Yours is one of the trifecta blogs, full of good stories, pictures, and recipes! I’ve liked so many of your posts overtime so it was a no brainer to nominate you!
I am not much of a blogger. But Jen I do love to keep track of your adventures. You have a great zeal for the things you do. Its funny that you said something about Elton. I was researching online. And when I stopped for a moment to see what you were up to. And even before I read you newest post. I had Elton on. It happened to be “Island girl”. I too love all genre of songs. I absolutely love to sing. Today to and from work. I had North pole radio on. And singing Christmas music.
As for traveling. I believe I have made it to most of the coast line. And have done a lot of traveling inward. One of my to do’s, is to eventually hit all 50 states. Mostly I need the northeastern states to fill in my quota.
I too Love to write. My college teachers as well as my friends say I should write books someday. Probably do to my ongoing creative imagination. I need to some slowing down to do that though. It is also on my to do list.
I drink tea and sometimes coffee, I think the whole coffee drinking thing is an acquired thing. My father when I was younger took me and my brother hunting. Which in those days. Meant we would drive long twisting roads. Where I would sometimes get car sick. All the while I could smell Dads coffee. I equated the smell with being car sick. So it wasn’t till my early adult years that I would even try it. It still took a long time. And a lot of sugar at first. Now I don’t mind a good cup of coffee. Yet I don’t make it at home and only do it as a social thing. Or maybe on a really cold turkey or duck hunting morning.
Which brings me to your blog. I guess the things remind me so much of things, good things in my past. It is fun to see you grow, as you learn all the miracles that are out her for us to enjoy. Keep it up! 🙂
Thanks for reading my blog and following my adventure. Sorry for the lapse of no posts and taking so long to reply to this!
Hopefully you can see all 50 states, that’s a great to-do list to have! A lot of your to-do list sounds good! I’m not sure I’ll ever like a good cup of coffee, but I guess it could happen!
I’m so glad it reminds you of that, thanks!
